    Per Diem Family Physician

     

    Marathon Health is seeking a Per Diem Family Physician to work part time who has knowledge and experience in primary care and preventative services to treat and work with the employees and their families (ages newborn +)>> of <<Customer>> at our near-site corporate health and wellness center in Hazelton, PA.

     

    We are looking for temporary coverage for 2-3 months while we recruit for a Permanent Provider. This is a 20 hour a week position. Schedule is Tues/Thurs 10am - 7pm and Wed. 8am-noon.

    Responsibilities

    The Family Physician is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

     

    The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the <<health coach and/or FNPs/PAs, and/or medical assistants>> within the Marathon Health Center.  Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

    Qualifications

    • Unrestricted medical license required
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
    • Must have primary care/family practice experience
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
    • You should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
