    Family Physician and Medical Director

     

    Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Family Physician to provide primary care to the employees and families of the City of Chattanooga at their employee health and wellness center. Join a team of 17 professionals who are committed to delivering high quality care and working with patients to identify and remediate risk factors, as well as helping patients with chronic conditions achieve standard of care.

     

    The Family Physician will also serve as the health center’s Medical Director, and work closely with a full time practice manager to oversee a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

     

    This is a 40 hour per week position with full benefits. No on-call or weekends. We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

     

    The position also is responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the FNPs/PAs, within the Marathon Health Center.  Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

    Qualifications

    • Unrestricted medical license required
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
    • Must have primary care/family practice experience
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
    • You should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
