    Accounts Payable Specialist

    Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team in Winooski, VT to focus on vendor invoicing, payments, and credit card reconciliations.  The ideal candidate has meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills, and preferably prior accounts payable experience.

    This is a 40 hour per week position (M-F 8AM-5PM) with competitive compensation and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off and resources to support your ongoing growth and development.

    • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals
    • Timely and accurately, enter and code invoices into NetSuite, the ERP system.
    • Allocate purchases to specific customers, locations, and departments
    • Assist in preparing, assembling invoices for check runs, and distributing checks
    • Assist in vendor statement reconciliations and research discrepancies
    • Reconcile and record all activity for the corporate credit cards

    In addition, this position may be asked to assist in the following as needed:

    • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
    • Provide support for the company’s annual audit
    • Provide back up for other finance tasks


    • Associate’s degree in Accounting
    • 1-3 years related experience
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task and work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Critical thinker with strong analytical and communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook and Word
    • Prior experience with NetSuite accounting software desired
