Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

 

Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to treat and work with the employees and their families (ages 2+) at our near-site corporate health and wellness center in our Columbus, OH network.

 

This is a PRN position. No on-call and we offer an excellent salary!

 

As this role provides coverage for health centers in the Columbus area, you should have flexibility to work during the operational hours of the health centers: weekdays: 7:00a.m. - 7:00p.m. and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m.  The ideal candidate would have availability to provide PRN coverage at least two - three shifts per month.

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

 

The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical staff within the Marathon Health Center.  Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner within a primary care/family practice setting
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure
  • Qualified applicants should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
